Continuing Education & Community Services
Through its Continuing Education mission, Extended Learning supports non-credit personal enrichment and professional development opportunities online and in-person. In addition to adult programs, Continuing Education supports a significant number of children's and youth classes.

Through its community service and outreach programs, UNM Extended Learning / Continuing Education supports multiple contracts and services for the State of New Mexico. The largest of these initiatives is the Early Childhood Services Center (ECSC). Funded by the Children, Youth, and Families Division (CYFD) and the Public Education Department (PED) , the ECSC helps every local community throughout New Mexico more effectively address its early childhood care and education issues and services.
