Extended Learning provides Web Conferencing services to faculty and students via an integrated component in UNM Learn. Once enabled in a course, Web Conferencing appears as an available tool within UNM Learn. Web Conferencing provides a comprehensive suite of tools for providing real-time interaction with faculty and students engaged in online classes. Most commonly used features include the ability to share applications and desktops, a whiteboard that can facilitate lecture notations and diagrams, student polling, breakout discussion rooms, and multi-point video and audio sharing.
Web Conferencing is available via UNM Learn, and faculty members can choose to implement web conferencing or not in their course depending on their own learning objectives and pedagogical strategies. Documentation about the use of web conferencing in a course can be found at https://learn.unm.edu.
